Data Protection & AI Operations
FoW is an AI-powered business and uses artificial intelligence and automation tools throughout our operations — including course delivery, content creation, customer communication, and data analysis. This section explains how we handle your data in this context.
Our data minimization principle
We are committed to processing the minimum amount of personal data necessary to deliver our services. This means:
- We do not collect data we don't need
- We use automation and AI tools to enhance efficiency, but only with data scoped to its specific purpose
- When we use third-party tools (vendors, platforms, or AI services), we ensure they have data processing agreements in place and comply with Swiss data protection law (FADP / revDSG)
- We prefer tools hosted in Switzerland or the EU where feasible; where we use tools hosted outside Switzerland, we have transfer safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses, Data Privacy Framework certifications, or other legally recognized mechanisms) in place
Tools and vendors we use
We use various third-party tools to operate our business, deliver courses, process payments, and communicate with you. These include (but are not limited to): course platforms, email and automation services, payment processors, hosting providers, and AI assistants.
You have the right to know: If you have questions about what specific tools we use, where your data is stored, or how a particular vendor handles your information, you can ask us anytime at elena@future-of-work.ch. We will provide you with specific details about any tool that processes your personal data, including its location, our data processing agreement, and transfer safeguards where applicable.
AI use in our operations
We use AI tools to:
- Analyze aggregated or anonymized data to improve courses and content
- Assist with content creation and course design
- Automate routine communications and administrative tasks
Where AI processes your personal data, we:
- Minimize what data reaches the AI system (preferring aggregated, anonymized, or non-personal data)
- Use AI systems with data processing agreements and appropriate safeguards
- Never use your personal data for AI model training without explicit consent
FoW commits to protecting participant privacy in accordance with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act.
Limitation of Liability
FoW is liable only for direct damages caused by its proven fault. No liability is accepted for indirect or consequential damages.
Modifications to Terms
Changes to these terms and program content will be published on www.future-of-work.ch. Participants are encouraged to review periodically. Such changes will take effect upon being posted on the website.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Both parties aim to resolve any disputes amicably; however, if litigation is necessary, exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts in Baar, Switzerland.
Certification
For AI Discovery, FoW issues certificates of completion to participants who successfully meet the program's criteria. These certificates do not represent guarantees of competency.
Ethical Use of Knowledge
Participants are expected to use the knowledge and materials gained from the program ethically and responsibly. FoW is not liable for misuse of this knowledge.
Final Provisions
These terms are effective unless deviations are agreed in writing. Individual agreements take precedence over these general terms.
Additional Provisions
- Force Majeure: FoW is not liable for failures or delays in service due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.
- Severability: If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to be valid and enforceable.
